Painted on location at one of my favorite "go to" spots, the Tualatin River Wildlife Refuge at dawn. In order to get this kind of light, I had to wake up and arrive to my location just as the birds begin to sing. The light is quite beautiful when the low-lying mist tuns into a rainbow of iridescent color.
